Motivation: a force or influence that causes someone to do something
Being motivated can take a lot out of someone because some people simply don't have the drive that others may have. In blog 3A I talked about the two different ways people can be motivated: intrinsically and extrinsically. I would say that I am more motivated intrinsically. If I enjoy doing something and I put my mind to it, I don't need a reward in order to be motivated. On the other hand, since History is not my favorite subject and I am not very good at it I may need someone else to motivated me to want to do better. In my opinion, I think that if you really enjoy doing something you should not need a reward or prize to motivate you to want to do better, you should intrinsically motivated and want to do well on your own.
